Alex Dubem Tagbo is a doctoral candidate at the Energy Process Engineering and Conversion Techniques of Renewable Energy (EVUR) Department, Institute for Energy Technology in Berlin, Germany. He has been involved in various academic and practice-oriented energy programs in Africa and Russia, towards the development of the energy sector and modern challenges. He developed his technical and interpersonal skills at the MicroEnergy International in Berlin on research studies of bioenergy projects and biomass conversion technologies for low energy consumption in West Africa. He holds a MSc in International Technology Transfer Management from Beuth Hochschule für Technik in Berlin and a BEng in Mechanical/Production Engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Nigeria. Presently, he is working on the application of the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) Model to predict and analyse the behaviour of process parameters in a slow biomass pyrolysis reactor. His future goal is to become an energy expert in the model application of energy systems to improve data quality and combustion process as well as to monitor in practice the gas emission rate.
